An AI-generated tuxedo cat wears a jeweled gold crown and flowing royal robes in blue and coral, framed by an ornate paper-cut border set against a background of antique sheet music and ledger script. The regal posture and direct gaze give this piece the feel of a formal court portrait, only starring a cat instead of a monarch.
The rich color palette and portrait framing make this a strong choice for framed wall art or a canvas print in a living room or cat lover's office. It also holds up nicely on a throw pillow or tote bag for anyone who wants their cat's regal side celebrated year-round.
A young tabby kitten, dressed in as a little Dutch cat and small crown, sits amid a cluster of tall, pale mushrooms rising up from the bottom of the frame, with a faint "Fashion Academy" script and alphabet motif in the background. The mix of innocence and ceremony gives this piece a softer, more whimsical tone than the other portraits in the volume.
The mushroom border and gentle color palette make this one a good fit for nursery or cottage core-style decor — think wall art, or a journal cover for someone who wants "fairy tale" over "formal portrait." It also works well as a magnet or sticker for cat-and-mushroom lovers alike.
A tabby cat dressed in a green tailored suit and tie sits at a desk with an open book and a glass of tea, framed in an ornate vintage border with soft purple floral accents. The scholarly, old-money styling gives this piece a distinguished, tongue-in-cheek "gentleman academic" feel. But you better not mess with her, because she means business! She is a professional.
This one lends itself well to office decor — mugs, desk mats, or a framed print for a home study or library nook. It would also make a fun gift item for anyone who appreciates a well-dressed cat with a taste for fine reading.
A cat in vintage baroque attire, including a plumed hat, plays a cello with focused intensity, set within a heavily scrolled black baroque frame against a muted sepia background. The formal musical subject and ornate framing give this piece a classical, gallery-portrait quality.
The strong black-and-sepia palette works well as a statement wall art or framed print, especially for music rooms or piano corners. It would also suit a tote bag or notebook for musicians and cat owners looking for something a little more sophisticated than a typical pet print.
A bespectacled tabby cat in a detective's coat and hat sits with a glass of whiskey and an open book, labeled "Meow = MC-Squared" at the top and captioned "A cat at rest has tendency to stay rest..." below — a physics pun rendered in a moody, ledger-paper background with a small glass bottle illustration.
The dry humor and detective styling make this a great candidate for novelty mugs, stickers, and T-shirts aimed at science-minded cat lovers. It also works well as a journal or notebook cover for anyone who appreciates a joke they can look at daily.
A cat in an elegant plumed hat and Victorian-style collar is flanked by two monarch butterflies, with "Meow" and "Laugh" banners above and "Love" scrolled below, set against a faded ledger and postage-stamp background. The soft blue-green palette and banner text give this piece a decorative, greeting-card quality.
The "Live Laugh Love" riff and butterfly detailing make this a natural fit for magnets, throw pillows, and wall art aimed at gift-buyers. It's also an easy pick for stickers or tote bags for anyone who wants a lighthearted, quotable cat design.
Mau
A black-and-white tuxedo cat wears an elaborate gold Egyptian-style headdress and blue-and-coral collar, framed in an ornate black border with faded red postal stamps and ink blot accents, labeled simply "Mau" at the top. The regal, Egyptian-inspired styling nods to the Egyptian Mau breed and ancient cat-worship imagery.
The bold framing and Egyptian motif make this piece a strong candidate for a poster or a statement tapestry, and it would also work well on a tote bag or phone case for cat lovers drawn to ancient Egyptian aesthetics.
Volume 03 introduces a playful new direction for the Mixed Media line: AI-generated cat portraits, cast as noble ladies, gentlemen scholars, musicians, and detectives in elaborate period dress, set into the same hand-arranged vintage collage backgrounds used throughout the series. The cats themselves are AI-created — a deliberate shift from the fully hand-collaged pieces in earlier volumes — while the ornate frames, sheet music, ledger pages, and antique ephemera surrounding them are still built and placed by hand, keeping that vintage scrapbook texture consistent across the gallery.
The result is a gallery that leans further into humor and character than earlier Mixed Media volumes, with a handful of punny titles (Meow-Laugh-Love, Meow = MC-Squared) adding a wink for anyone who appreciates a good cat pun. The costumed, portrait-style format suits framed wall art and canvas prints especially well, but also translates nicely to mugs, tote bags, and stickers for cat lovers who want a bit of Renaissance drama with their morning coffee.
