Galaxies 101

Volume 01

Volume 03

Volume 02 of Galaxies 101 imagines a skyline built for a different kind of city — one where towers end in glass domes and saucer crowns instead of steel and glass. Space Needles City reimagines the retro-futurist observation tower as a repeating motif, stacked into dense, dreamlike skylines rendered across seven distinct color moods: cool aqua and seafoam, deep midnight blue, moody plum twilight, warm sunset maroon, and pastel candy skies. Two towers styles recur throughout the volume — saucer-topped needles and glowing lightbulb-shaped pods — and in two pieces, a watchful row of black cat silhouettes stands guard along the skyline's edge. Every piece in this collection is fully original digital illustration — no AI, pure imagination — designed to work equally well as a bold statement print or a moody accent piece in a modern space.

Stardust Spires

Pastel green and pink retro-futuristic space needle tower skyline illustration
A soft seafoam-green sky holds a dense cluster of saucer-topped towers in blush pink, lavender, and cream. Faint orbit rings and scattered stars drift behind the skyline, giving the piece a gentle, dreamy energy — a softer entry point into the Space Needles City world. The pastel palette and layered composition give it a hand-painted, storybook quality that sets the tone for the volume's more vivid pieces. This piece is a natural fit for vertical wall art, where the tall stacked towers can stretch out, and for phone cases, where the soft colors stay soothing rather than busy on a smaller screen. Also great for refrigerator magnets. The gentle palette also makes it a strong sticker candidate for anyone drawn to pastel, dreamy aesthetics.

Twilight Towers

The same tower skyline rendered entirely in cool blues and teals, set against a swirling midnight sky dotted with stars and a hazy moon. The monochrome palette turns the busy tower cluster into something calmer and more architectural — clean, cool, and a little mysterious. The strong vertical lines and cool palette make this a great match for wall art in a modern space and for phone cases, where a monochrome design tends to look sharp. The clean palette also reads well as a T-shirt graphic for buyers who prefer a subtler, single-tone print.

Lunar Cat Watch

Saucer towers in dusty pink and teal rise beneath a pale moon, several with small cat silhouettes visible inside their glass domes. Along the bottom edge, a row of black cat silhouettes with curling tails stands watch over the skyline — a playful, slightly eerie touch of life inside an otherwise mechanical scene. This one is an easy pick for vertical wall art and stickers, since the cat silhouettes are graphic and recognizable even at a small size. The cats also make it a strong T-shirt candidate for buyers looking for something whimsical rather than purely architectural.

Firefly Grove

The towers shift shape entirely here: tall, glowing lightbulb- and lamp-shaped pods rise on thin wire stems against a deep green-navy starfield. Strings of tiny lights and soft glass textures give the piece a quiet, glowing, after-dark feeling. The tall stems and glowing pods suit vertical wall art and phone cases especially well. Or, for something smaller, this also works great for stickers, notebooks and coffee mugs.

Cotton Candy Skyline

The lightbulb towers return in a brighter palette — teal, lavender, and warm yellow glass pods glowing against a soft gradient sky of turquoise, pink, and gold. It's the most vibrant piece in the volume, capturing the last light of day. Its brightness makes it a strong choice for vertical wall art and T-shirts.

Rosewood Silhouettes

The same lamp-tower skyline rendered in a single warm maroon-to-rose palette, with softly textured planetary shapes glowing behind. The monochrome sunset tone gives this piece a quieter, more dramatic mood than its twilight counterpart. The warm, muted tone works well as vertical wall art or a magnet. The repeating pattern also suits a horizontal wall art crop without losing its moody character.

The Advanced City of Meowing

Lightbulb towers glow in purple, pink, and teal beneath a massive, cratered moon. Black cat silhouettes line the foreground again, echoing No. 03 but paired with the softer, lamp-lit tower style — a bookend piece for the volume's cat appearances. Zip code : 787-meow meow. Like No. 03, this piece suits vertical wall art and stickers thanks to its clean cat silhouettes, and the moon backdrop makes it T-shirt-friendly too.
